MANILA -- Two modern Chinese-Filipinos bested 30 other male and female candidates in the recently concluded Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Philippines 2013.
"Tsinoys" Randy See and Rolini Lim Pineda were crowned Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Philippines, respectively, during the coronation night on Sunday at the Resorts World Manila.
See, a self-confessed "lola's boy," also won the Best in Active and Informal Wear awards, while Interior Design student Pineda grabbed the Best in Evening Gown award.

Those who made it to the top 12 of the pageant were Sydney Du, Jose Miguel Lasala, Jaime Lim Ripoll, Sheryl Elaine Chua, Samantha Jade Dy, and Catherine Yao.
"Tsinoys" Xian Lim, Enchong Dee and Gretchen Ho hosted the pageant while actress-host Alex Gonzaga replaced Kim Chiu, whose mother died recently.
Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Philippines is a celebration of Chinese-Filipino culture and beauty in modern times, amid territorial disputes between the Philippines and China. Source ABS CBN News
