Mr. & Ms. Chinatown Philippines 2013 Grand Coronation was held at Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila.

This years Mr & Ms. Chinatown Philippines winners are Rolini Pineda and Randy See

1st runners up - Maricon Cho and Jerome Tan

2nd runners up -  Sky Yang and Michelle Sy

   

Mutya ng Pilipinas Candidate Koreen Medina

Koreen Medina, candidate no. 37 in this year's Mutya ng Pilipinas, is one of the top contenders in the pageant.

Koreen is under Star Magic and is the most recent winner of ABS-CBN's HYY - MY GIRL 2012, Grand Champion of COCA COLA Music Talent Seach 2011 and Winner of NCR Ms. Fashionista 2011

Of Spanish descent, Koreen is currently taking up Associate in Arts at the University of the Philippines.

Mr. and Ms. Chinatown 2013

MANILA -- Two modern Chinese-Filipinos bested 30 other male and female candidates in the recently concluded Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Philippines 2013.

"Tsinoys" Randy See and Rolini Lim Pineda were crowned Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Philippines, respectively, during the coronation night on Sunday at the Resorts World Manila.

See, a self-confessed "lola's boy," also won the Best in Active and Informal Wear awards, while Interior Design student Pineda grabbed the Best in Evening Gown award.

Those who made it to the top 12 of the pageant were Sydney Du, Jose Miguel Lasala, Jaime Lim Ripoll, Sheryl Elaine Chua, Samantha Jade Dy, and Catherine Yao.

"Tsinoys" Xian Lim, Enchong Dee and Gretchen Ho hosted the pageant while actress-host Alex Gonzaga replaced Kim Chiu, whose mother died recently.

Mr. and Ms. Chinatown Philippines is a celebration of Chinese-Filipino culture and beauty in modern times, amid territorial disputes between the Philippines and China. Source ABS CBN News

Mutya ng Pilipinas 2013

Mutya ng Pilipinas 2013, is the 45th edition of Mutya ng Pilipinas, Inc., to be held on July 27th at a venue later to be announced. 

The reigning queens, Camille Guevarra, Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific (Intercontinental) 2012 and Rizzini Alexis Gomez, Mutya ng Pilipinas Tourism 2012 will crown their successors. The 2 winners will compete at the 2013 Miss Intercontinental and 2013/2014 Miss Tourism International pageants respectively.

The show isn’t over for the largest and most prestigious model search event in the Philippines, Bodyshots! As the news is spreading like wildfire, Bodyshots Model Search is making a comeback this 2013 with a much bigger, better and more exciting program than ever. 

Having launched the careers of some of the celebrities and models we know today since FDAP initiated the groundwork for the first competition in 1986, Bodyshots is truly considered to be your passport to the industry. Some of the alumni of the competition include Eric Quizon, Marina Benipayo, Wilma Doesnt, Zanjoe Marudo, John Estrada, Hayden Kho, Joan Bitagcol, Rachel Soriano, Lucia Santiago, and Francine Prieto. 

Bodyshots undeniably raised the bar of the Philippine fashion modeling industry. Since its inception, FDAP endeavored to discover young but promising and professional modeling talents with an aim to establish the Philippines as Asia’s foremost source of fashion models.

The Fashion Designers Association of The Philippines (FDAP) in cooperation with Resorts World Manila is proud to announce the hosting of the Bodyshots X 2013 Model Search Philippines. Its nationwide screening was held last May 18 – 19, and out of the 150 models who auditioned, only 15 men and 15 women were chosen as the finalists for the competition. TheGrand Finals Night is set on June 27 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila. But before the big event, all are invited to come and swing by at the The Plaza in Resorts World Manila as the finalists strut their stuff at the Fashion Shows on June 12, 17 and 18 at 6:00 pm.
